Purple gromwell contains shikonin and allantoin.

Shikonin has analgesic, hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effects, and is especially effective in promoting the proliferation of epidermal cells.

Allantoin is a skin-friendly moisturizing ingredient that is refreshing and non-sticky. It can improve keratinized skin, naturally metabolize melanin in the epidermis, and also has anti-allergic properties.
